The August 2017 Quicklisp dist has been released, and it has a few libraries I am proud to announce.
In a previous article, I had mentioned how I was looking for another programming language to learn.
This is a follow-up to that article.
After many years frustrated with how slow Common Lisp's png-read library is, I decided to take an
evening to try to optimize it.
January 1st next year marks a full decade of developing exclusively with Common Lisp. While I do not
wish to give up this language, I really do wish I could find a second language that is interesting
enough for me to learn.
